I recently watched a video by renowned Auto Photographer Tim Wallace. The video is called “Art of the Close Up” available on Kelby Training. The video is all about taking low-key, detailed photographs using a single flash and strip style softbox. It is the type of photography I’ve always been fascinated with. Taking the cars details and making them look like a piece of art. As of right now I’ve only used natural light and editing to create these images. In the coming weeks I will be getting an external flash and softbox setup. This should give me the tools I need to create the images I’m looking for.
